The Pre-Health for Human Rights Society Model

The Pre-Health for Human Rights Society is a student organization that fosters educational awareness of various human rights issues across the world. Our foundation is built on helping pre-health students and beyond find their inner advocates and use their knowledge to make impactful changes in the future. We do this through three initiatives:

Our PHHR Blog

Our blog features key pieces that highlight ongoing human rights, humanitarian, and healthcare issues. These pieces aim to educate or bring awareness to specific issues. They are meant to be interactive and provide a foundation of knowledge for students.

Our PHHR Events

Our speaker events are diverse. We constantly look for speakers that can provide unique insight into their work in the human rights, humanitarian, or healthcare field. To know more about previous speaker events we've held you can follow our instagram (@phhr_hunter).

Our PHHR Campaigns

Alongside our blogs, we hold social media campaigns that allow the general public to "take action" pertaining to the specific highlighted human rights issue of the week. Some may include: signing a petition, and drafting emails to representatives, non-profit organizations, or UN members.
